Junior & U14 League get underway |

The Lee Strand Junior Football League
The junior league got underway on Monday evening last with 8 teams declared for the junior league, Kerins O’Rahillys are the current Junior league champions and will have strong competition from Austin Stacks, Churchill, Na Gaeil, Ballymac, Ardfert, St Pat’s and John Mitchels and will run for 7 weeks to the 9th of August. The semi finals are set for August 16th and the first round games were.
Austin Stacks got a walk over from Churchill, with Kerins O’Rahillys the only home to record a win as they overcame Ballymac, St Pat’s went down at home to John Mitchels and Ardfert lost by 4 at home to Na Gaeil.
The Tralee Community Garda U14 league got underway on Tuesday evening with the div2 game between Ballymac and St Pats. The remaining div2 game with Milltown Castlemaine at home to their neighbours Laune Rangers will throw in at 6.45pm on Friday evening and div 1 will commence with Churchill at home to Kerins O’Rahillys on Wednesday evening @ 8pm.
